Ondina González

González Resource Center - Director

Ondina was born in Havana, Cuba, and came to the United States with her parents and siblings. They settled in Rome, Georgia, where her parents found employment at Berry College. She earned a B.A. and M.A. in History simultaneously, an M.A. in International Finance, and a Ph.D. in History. Most of her working life has been in the non-profit sector, initially in small organizations and then as a teacher. Her greatest joy is her family, especially her husband, Karl, and her son, Jorge, both of whom are extraordinary men from whom she learns every day how to be more faithful and loving. These days, she volunteers at the Justo and Catherine Gonzalez Resource Center.
