What excites you about your role at AETH?

I am excited about the opportunity to be part of a community that recognizes the richness of Hispanic and Latin American theological experiences and seeks to strengthen theological education from our particular contexts and memories. I hope to contribute to intercultural dialogue, build collaborative networks, and bring my own experience to foster a more contextual and engaged theological reflection.

In his spare time...

I enjoy reading, writing, and reflecting on topics related to theology, history, and culture. I also enjoy traveling, spending time with friends, discovering new coffee shops, and exploring music, especially jazz. Additionally, I am a big fan of Real Madrid C.F. and I love soccer. I find great joy in meaningful conversations, learning from others, and the everyday moments where new ideas emerge.

Your favorite book...

My favorite book is Rayuela by Julio Cortázar. I am drawn to the way it challenges traditional forms of storytelling and explores the search for meaning, freedom, identity, and the complexity of human experience. It is a work that invites us to read, think, and live from new perspectives.

A person who inspires you...

Many people have inspired me, from mentors like Ediberto López and Samuel Silva Gotay to friends like Marilyn, Yadiel, Josué, Rafael, and Miguel (among many others).
